About ExifHub

ExifHub is a free suite of tools for viewing and managing the metadata hidden inside your photos. Every image file carries invisible information alongside its pixels: the camera that took it, the exact date and time, and sometimes even the GPS coordinates of where the photo was captured. ExifHub helps you see that information clearly, and, over time, clean it up if you want to.

Right now you can use our EXIF viewer to inspect camera settings, GPS location, and technical metadata from any photo. We are actively building out more tools, including an EXIF editor, a metadata remover, and dedicated GPS tools, all following the same approach.

What sets ExifHub apart is simple: everything happens entirely in your browser. When you drop a photo into one of our tools, it never leaves your device. There is no upload, no server processing, and no file storage anywhere. The JavaScript running in your browser reads the file directly, shows you what it finds, and discards it the moment you close the tab or choose a different file.

This matters because photo metadata can be surprisingly sensitive. GPS coordinates can reveal exactly where a picture was taken, and camera details or timestamps can be used to corroborate or contradict a story.
